This is a specialized herbal treatment for weight reduction. A herbal powder is applied all over the body and deeply massaged with specific movements by 2 therapists for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Method:
Udwarthanam is the procedure in which the body is massaged well with specially prepared, heated herbal powder. The medicated powder is massaged thoroughly in pratiloma (reverse) direction. Udwarthanam is done in 7 postures.
